About Our Disaster Management
GRANNY’S ALLIANCE HOLDINGS is one of the premier disaster response companies in the United States. With a large fleet of asset-owned equipment, Granny’s deploys quickly to provide you with the service and experience you deserve. Our attention to detail and strong alliances with the best in the industry give you the confidence you need for full turnkey base camps or single resource support.
We have traveled throughout the United States on the front lines during wildfire support and have provided hurricane relief services during the devastation of Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Ike, Gustav, Irene, Isaac, Sandy, Matthew, Harvey, Maria, Irma, Florence, and Michael. We know firsthand how to address the complicated environmental issues created by monumental disasters. We provided support during the devastating environmental impact of the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and mobilized during the devastating tornado outbreaks in Alabama. As well, we supported multiple shelters during the Baton Rouge, LA, flooding in 2016.
GRANNY’S ALLIANCE HOLDINGS is proud to have been the prime contractor for the State of New Jersey during Hurricane Sandy, during which we provided two 4,000 turnkey base camps for utility workers and survivors. Our team of experts worked tirelessly during Sandy and the subsequent Nor’easter to provide expert management, site prep, catering, power generation and billeting, full ablution services, security, badging, MWR’s, laundry services, and state-of-the-art attention to detail.
Most recently, we were able to help and assist in the aftermaths of Hurricane Harvey, Irma, Maria, Florence, and Michael with our state-of-the-art emergency mobile response equipment. Just weeks after Hurricane Maria, we deployed to Puerto Rico for a duration of five months, bringing resources such as generators and fuel that made it possible to provide micro-grids to an entire Coast Guard Base, as well as potable water and our mobile restrooms, showers, and turnkey laundry services.
Post-Hurricane Michael our team set up a complete base camp for the state of Florida to feed and provide shelter and support to over 650 workers from all over Panama City and the surrounding areas. We feel so fortunate to have been able to take the stress of eating, sleeping, and hygiene-related worries off the shoulders of the amazing men and women who stepped up to help the devastated areas.
Our company does not provide the “box-car” mentality with the cheapest service you can get, but realizes the importance of each person who walks into our mobile shower units, sleeps in our mobile sleeping units, and appreciates the wash, dry and fold service from our mobile laundry service. We provide the most effective service at the best value to our clients because we specialize in providing the comforts of home during extreme situations.
By providing high-quality green-and-clean equipment, our disaster management enables a safer workplace for crews working in the upstream, midstream, and downstream areas. Bio-friendly anti-bacterial soaps, cleaning supplies, and on-demand hot water reduce workplace illnesses thus providing a more profitable bottom line.
"We cannot express our gratitude enough for the outstanding working relationship with your entire staff. You have a great group of professionals with excellent equipment that is very service oriented."
